Data Catalog
Every table and model in the lake, with lineage and the semantic layer.
The catalog has four views: Datasets, Models, Lineage and Semantic layer.
Datasets is one table with the source, layer, rows, quality (passing, warnings, failing or No tests), whether it is documented, PII columns and freshness. Filter chips find the gaps: No tests, Undocumented, Has PII. Selecting a row opens a drawer whose gaps become next steps: author tests, write documentation, explore in Data Studio.
Lineage is the interactive pipeline graph (sources, lake tables, models), with column provenance and the OpenLineage export. See lineage and provenance.
Semantic layer is where you derive and review the vocabulary; see the semantic layer.
